Instructor vehicle

I have always found it important to have a reliable car. For the past five years I have used a VW Golf and found it a consistently reliable, safe and comfortable car. They are easy to drive, with great seat and steering adjustments that can almost fit anyone.

My car includes the following features to help with driving:

• Instructor duel controls to help in those times when you might stray

• A powerful engine to get a grasp of real driving

• Clear all round visibility for instructor and pupil

I have heard many storeys of instructors who do not encourage pupils to drive near or at the speed limit. This causes annoyance to other road users and does not prepare pupils for life after their driving test. Of course, confidence needs to be built up before speed and this is achieved in a safe environment until a pupil is ready to progress.
